Glass Workshops @ East Chase Cottage
This Spring Alex will be running workshops from
her studio at East Chase Cottage, Bowerchalke. There are a variety of options to suit different levels and requirements.
All workshops are available on dates shown in links or you can book alternative dates if you are a group of between 6 and 12.
An Introduction to Glass
3 hour morning or afternoon session
A great introduction to the basics of glass. You will learn to handle the material, how to assemble and fire glass and how to think about design and colour. For dates click here.
Working with Glass in the Kiln
A full day working with fused glass - £140 including lunch
A full day's workshop giving you time to extend your skills working with glass. We will look at cutting, designing and layering glass, focusing on colour and texture to create 5 objects to take home.
Make a Plate
Make a 30cm plate in your own design
Alex will guide you through the steps to make a plate in your own design, including designing and using coour and translating this into glass. For details click here.
