Through a Glass Darkly 2012

This work was made in response to a call for glass artworks for an exhibition at Sarum Academy in the Close in Salisbury.  Inspired by St Paul's letter to the Corinthians Chapter 1 Verse 13 "When I was a child I spake as a child, I understood as a child, but when I became a man I put away childish things.  For now we see through a glass darkly, but then face to face:  now I know in part, but then shall I know even as also I am known'.  The triptych reflects on our relationship with the non material world at three stages of life.  .
